This performance muffler features a ceramic-coated stainless steel endcap, cone, and flexible section for durability. It also allows for reverse installation which opens up your options to relocate your muffler. Installation: The Ski-Doo Ceramic Coated Muffler is a direct replacement for the stock muffler, meaning it will bolt into place without any cutting or welding required. The whole muffler can be removed using a socket wrench without having to remove the exhaust manifold. It has a lightweight design weighing approximately 7.5-pounds lighter than stock with no loss in horsepower or performance. The muffler is manufactured from T304L stainless steel, which is polished on the outside and nickel-plated on the inside for added durability. The Ski-Doo Ceramic Coated Muffler includes a stainless steel endcap for increased crash resistance and is coated with an epoxy ceramic coating that gives it superior corrosion resistance compared to most mufflers on the market. Installation Tips: Removing the stock exhaust manifold will give you more room to remove and replace the muffler. With the manifold removed, the muffler is only held in by a rubber exhaust hanger and one bolt on each side of the lower section.
